Abstract

This paper looks at the work prospects for people with disabilities in Ireland. It highlights the fact that although some employers may see disbled workers as problemmatical, even though there is evidence that people with disabilities often have very good timekeeping, attendance and safety records at work. The study also examines the gap between the needs of people with disabilities, the requirements of employers and ways in which these gaps can be filled.
