Abstract
This research project aims to explore the effects of management styles and emotional intelligence on performance from an individual and team perspective. Its analysis the effects of the various management styles such as autocratic, democratic, and laissez-faire regarding employee performance, engagement, and motivation. Additionally, it investigates the effects of emotional intelligence on performance, analysing the influence it has on employee wellbeing, productivity, communication, and relationship building. With an extensive literature review and in-depth research, this study engages and dissects the relationship between management styles, emotional intelligence, and performance. The research explores themes and paterns that become apparent throughout the course of the study. The finding during this study translate into a more developed understanding of the procedures that contribute to enhanced performance through affective management of staff and a developed level of emotional intelligence. This research looks to assist organisations and management in developing adaptability and leadership in their management styles and nurturing a more emotionally intelligent approach to their methods. Ultimately, it aims to enhance individual and team performance levels, create a more motivated, engaged, and productive workforce in the drive for success.
