Abstract
This report was submitted in May 2021 as part of the final year software engineering project for Business Information Systems. In this report, there is a detailed explanation outlining the motivation behind and implementation of a new recruitment software, Connect2. This project focuses on the issues around recruitment discrimination in Ireland and purposes an idea for how technology could be used to tackle this issue. Furthermore, this report outlines how this idea was implemented to produce a web application candidates and recruiters can use for their hiring needs. It explains the functional requirements of the web application and how such requirements were achieved. It also discusses the testing stages the project went through to validate performance. Finally, further research and development for this project are discussed in the final sections.
