Abstract

My POS is a web-based Point of Sale application for small size restaurants and cafeterias which is available for iPad and mobile devices. It allows a table-side ordering system with a QR code which drives a good user experience. By scanning a QR code, customers can order at a table conveniently. It can also reduce the contact with staff. When customers scan the QR code, they will get a notification that will lead them to the order section. The POS application provides register, login and logout using staff id and password. On Staff page, staff account can be managed. On the Product section, new items can be added with its name, image, description, price, category of the products. The POS section allows for managing order. It shows the whole table orders and the status of each table order item whether each order item is ready or not. MyPOS also provides a sales report section, which demonstrates daily, monthly sale report in a graph. It will allow the owner to identify the most popular menus and busy time which helps scheduling staffs effectively. QR code generation section will generate QR codes. It also has a payment section that customers pay by card or cash.
