Abstract

This paper looks at the training environment in ESB, and the possibility of introducing elearning, or blended learning, as a solution to the costs involved. Issues examined include the current ESB training regime, the need to implement an elearning approach to training within the organisation, requirements needed to integrate elearning into ESB's current training services, the technical issues involved and the effectiveness of a possible framework from the viewpoint of ESB staff.
