Abstract

The Prologue considers how workplace bullying, harassment and mobbing may be defined and several contributors have explored ways in which accusations of bullying can arise. The real-life case studies in this chapter demonstrate the resulting effect on individuals and the workplace in general. They illustrate scenarios where best practice is not always followed, and the resulting consequences.
