Abstract

This research addresses the challenge of energy efficiency in Kubernetes environments where container orchestration decisions significantly impact data center power consumption. optimizing energy consumption has become challenge for environmental sustainability and operational cost reduction. The default Kubernetes scheduler primarily focuses on CPU and memory requests rather than actual resource usage patterns, leading to inefficiency energy utilization across clusters. This study introduces an approach to Kubernetes scheduling that incorporates real-time power metrics and parameter-optimized models to make energy-aware placement decisions.
