Abstract
Dengue fever is a common disease in the countries with tropical climate such as the Southeast Asia region. The intention of this research is to explore the transmission patterns of dengue cases in various climate conditions. The study also forecasts the trend and seasonal pattern for dengue cases considering weather variables in time series forecasting models. Other studies are reviewed to support the models and evaluation in this research. From this study, it is observed that the simplest technique of data mining could lead to a better a accuracy of forecast. The result of this study could be a stepping stone to new strategies or biological development to fight dengue transmission.
