Abstract
‘Bucket’ is an android application with the goal of inspiring adventure and personal growth. It is marketed to all ages, from a child dreaming of what adventures their lives may entail, to an elderly couple looking for fun ways to spend their retirement years. It allows users to create their own bucket list, alter entries and delete them if they so choose. Lists of ideas, broken up into different categories, alongside the usage of the Twitter API inspires users to try new things. It also incorporates Google Maps to present users with a view of what nearby activities are available to them. It was developed in Android Studio using Java and the Android SDK, as well as PHP files to enable interaction with a remote database.
