Abstract
Helheimr is an Isometric (top down view), Hack and Slash game set in Hel, land of the dead from Nordic Mythology. The game will be created using Unreal Engine 4.14.
Main Character – a lone Viking, will fight against hordes of monsters while gathering equipment, skills and experience. Player will have to fight against different monsters with various strengths and abilities. Some of the monsters will be cowards that will fly at the very sound of danger but other will hunt the player down mercilessly. The game is by no means easy. The player will have to defeat the monsters but will also have to defeat their own weaknesses.
Some of the key features that Helheimr has:
- Grim world of Hel with bloodthirsty monsters – from spiders to frost giants
- Many different enemies that will have different AI for them – some are cowards that will escape but some will hunt you to the very end
- Many different inventory pieces from long swords to steel helmets
