Abstract

This project aims to provide the user with a seamless experience where they can interact with the system as much as they could a fully build enterprise application the idea of the project to allow users to scan a QR code on an item that they find in person and be brought instantly to the store page for that item where they can view all the available listings. The project sets out to solve the problems of “do they have this item in my size?”, “Maybe they have it in the back” instead of having to ask an employee to go and check you are able to just scan one item and view all the available listings for that item. Say they sell a pattern shirt the user really wants instead of searching around and hoping to find one in person or browsing the stores website in the hopes of finding it with one scan they will be brought to the store page where they can view all available listings and order it for delivery. This project aims to provide a application with sensible functionality such as a payment management system, a login system, a database to store user information and order information, a hosted application so it can be browsed to on the internet and finally a order confirmation page with delivery information that can be changed by the admin.
