Abstract
This report includes a review of the development of the VirtuCard website. The primary goal of which is raising awareness about the environmental impact of traditional celebration cards and providing individuals with an accessible and convenient alternative method. Through the course of this project, important features have been implemented, including a safe storage place for celebration cards, creating events, and a like and comment system. These enhancements have significantly improved the overall user experience of VirtuCard.
While significant progress has been made in achieving the project's objectives, it is important to acknowledge the limitations that were encountered. Challenges included the implemention of a scalable cloud-based database for the images and also, creating an online editor for the celebration cards. However, by implementing alternative approaches, the project mitigated these obstacles and delivered a functional web application that satisfied the initial expectations.
In summary, this web application has not only successfully raised awareness about the environmental impact of traditional greeting cards but also provided individuals with a user-friendly platform that encourages the use of sustainable practices. By reducing paper waste and promoting virtual exchanges, this website has taken a significant step towards a more environmentally conscious future.
