Abstract

The Safe to Shop Application is a project that focuses on making online users aware of fraudulent online webstores. It does this by gathering information about the website and presenting it to the online user in a clear and precise manner.

The Safe to Shop Application is a project that is divided into two parts. The first part of this project is the Safe to Shop API. This portion of the project involves gathering information about the selected website and structuring it so that it’s compatible with the second portion of the project. The second portion of the project is the Safe to Shop Chrome Plugin. This portion of the project involves showing the end user information about the selected URL using information gathered by the Safe to Shop API.
