Abstract

The main idea behind this project report is to describe the project idea that I have developed and pointing out the key features and working of the application. This technical report will provide more information on how my system works, the difficulties that I faced and how I overcome that situations. Salt and pepper is an innovative, smart android application, that can be used for shopping Asian groceries online. This application run as a platform where users and shop owners can do their business by their own. This application have an inbuilt AI voice assistant that will help the users to scroll the pages, direct from one page to another and even help in choosing the products and add them to the cart. The user will get a feeling that this application is talking to them, as this voice assistant will do all these using voice commands from the user. The competitor of this application is “Buymie”. But the android application, that I created works totally different as that of “Buymie”. This report will provide all details based on how this system works. The Introduction part of this report contains more details of project such as the background and aim of this project, the technology used in order to develop the project. The key points are provided under technical requirements, GUI and implementation part of this document.
