Abstract

This paper will investigate consumer behaviour within the online music industry in Ireland. It will look into the changing forms of consumption from it’s traditional form (instore) and how this is affecting the music industry as a whole. It will also look at the level of consumer ethics involved in the purchase/consumption of music and how this compares to tangible products.

A quantitative approach was applied to the data collected via survey.

Recommendations on the study, the research conducted and the findings of the data conclude this dissertation.
